Acknowledgments

The Old Grace Housing Co-op has received assistance and support  as we  develop our  co-op housing project  and work towards submitting a housing development proposal to the Manitoba Government.

We have received a  Co-operative  Development Grant from the MANITOBA CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION  and a Community Enterprise Development Grant from ASSINIBOINE CREDIT UNION . These grants  have brought resources to support our development process and have paid for  many incidental expenditures important to our work. Staff at Assiniboine Credit Union have been very  helpful  in discussions  on financing models for our project.

Blair Hamilton from SEED has played an invaluable  role on an ongoing bases  providing us with information  and analysis on co-op housing models and sharing his vast experience  from the  co-operative development field.

Thank you for your support  and assistance !

Under their direction we are presently putting together a business plan and a project proposal. We expect that the Government will issue a request for proposals to develop the site  early in 2014.
