Our bylaws provide as follows:
Nominating Candidates for Director
3.06 Candidates for director may be nominated both by a nominating committee appointed by the board, if any, before the meeting of members, or at the time of the meeting of members by any member present. For clarity, members may declare their own candidacy.
The Nominating Committee appointed by the Board for the current election comprises Carl von Baeyer (chair), Lynn Clark, and Sandra Hardy.
The committee reviewed the composition of the current board, priorities in filling the single vacant position, and with those factors in mind, potential candidates for election.
The committee also considered the need for members of the Board of Directors to be oriented to their responsibilities. An outline of these responsibilities is provided in the next document. This outline is a work-in-progress.

Additional nominations can be made at the General Meeting on 25 January or in advance by email to oldgracehousingcoop@gmail.com with the subject line “Nomination.” Nominees should provide a personal statement and, optionally, a photo.
A new Nominating Committee will be appointed by the Board to seek nominations from the co-op membership for election at the Annual General Meeting (25 April 2020) at which five director positions will be filled.
